KRISHNA PATEL - PASTRY CHEF, HOME BAKER
Hi! I'm Krishna. I was born and raised in the Bay Area! Professionally I work as a Pastry Chef, but as my hobby, I also work as a Pastry Chef.. Hahah.

I always loved baking and eating a ton of desserts. My journey took me on a long road. I started off as a Biology major at UC Davis. As time went on, I realized I would have to go to even more schooling to narrow down what I would want to do as my career. I would keep seeing ads on Facebook about the Art Institute in Sacramento. So one day I just went for a tour, and before I knew it, I was enrolled. Culinary school was really fun, and it was easy, because I enjoyed it and I knew what I was doing. My first restaurant job was at a Michelin starred restaurant in San Francisco; they hired me with no experience! Talk about getting lucky! Slowly, I started doing my own thing at home.

I love to experiment with combining classic desserts with Indian flavors, and that's resulted in some very delicious fusion desserts! My first love is making cakes, so whenever I get the chance I take it!
